Developed a comprehensive Fundraising Plan for Article 1.
Article 1 is a human rights charity based in London which focuses on Sudan. We work to raise awareness about genocide and human rights atrocities in Sudan in order to apply pressure on policy makers and governments to act to end abuses and resolve conflicts. We ensure that the voices of Sudanese people based in the UK, Sudan, Chad and elsewhere are heard, and put justice for victims of the Sudanese regime at the heart of what we do. Historically our work has focussed on Darfur but it increasingly includes other areas of Sudan, particularly the East, Abyei and the states of Southern Kordofan and Blue Nile which have seen violence escalate over recent years.
